Your is special. It is a once in a lifetime experience, which will surely be one of the most memorable experiences you could ever have in your life. As to weather those memories be good or bad, it all depends on how you plan things out during the planning phase for your honeymoon.

These two areas may sound like rather not so serious areas, but do pay attention to them, as many honeymooners who didn’t exactly consider them well would rather do away with them in their memories.

Consider Well Your Room

You may think that your room doesn’t exactly matter, as what matters is that you are with your life partner. Think again. Don’t be sparse when talking about your room. Even if you forecast that you won’t be spending that much time in your room, don’t cheapen out on your room.

Of course, this doesn’t mean you should blow out all your budget on your room. Simply consider your room options well, without going cheap on it.

You’ll greatly regret your decision if you “cut corners” with your room.

Consider Well Your Departure Time and Date

Many make this mistake with their honeymoons, the most commonly incurred would be that of setting the departure date early in the morning, the day after the wedding day.

Think about the things a couple would have to go through during the wedding day. The wedding preparation itself is already quite stressful. The wedding ceremony may not be as stressful as the wedding preparations themselves, but surely some level of being tired would be prevailing. Then think about the wedding reception. Generally, a night of dining, dancing and drinking would take place on wedding receptions. Also, mini reunions between old time friends and family would also occur during wedding receptions. Then after thinking about those, think about the wedding night. The many activities that would happen during the wedding night, added with the events and activities that came before it, are sure to leave you and your partner quite exhausted.

The last thing you both would need is to rush to the departure area just so you won’t miss your trip.

Consider these things well when planning for your honeymoon. You surely won’t regret it.
